Watercolours is the only Rolyan material offered in a full range of colours. Like all materials in the Aquaplast™ family, it has 100 percent memory and turns translucent when heated. These unique characteristics help the clinician form the perfect-fitting splint with the ability to be revised.
Controlled stretch and the ability to be handled with moderate pressure. It will not stretch out of shape when removed from splint bath.
Conforms to surface contours and detail when applying minimum force. Moderate degree of drape.
When reheated, the material “remembers” its original shape and returns to it. Allows for repeated reheating and reshaping for splint revisions.
Create a temporary bond by pinching together heated material; however, it will come apart when cooled. Form a permanent bond by scrubbing off the coating or removing it with a bond solvent.
Available in the following sheet thicknesses: 1/8" (3.2 mm), 1/16" (1.6 mm) and 3/32" (2.4 mm).
Available in 13 percent, 19 percent or solid material.
